Getting started with Do Today
Welcome to Do Today — your personal AI health companion, where everything happens in one place: a conversation with Abraham, the AI at the heart of the app.
Say hello to Abraham
Open the app and just start chatting, the same way you would with any AI assistant. Tell Abraham how your day is going, or ask a question. Abraham is here for the in-between-appointments part of your medically-supervised weight-loss program — no judgement, no lectures, and never a diagnosis.
Set up your profile so your targets fit you
A few details let Abraham personalise your calorie, macro, water and activity targets to your body, rather than a generic average.
- Open your profile settings.
- Add your basics — height, weight, age and activity level.
- List any allergies, so food logging can flag them for you.
- Note any conditions or medications you'd like Abraham to keep in mind.
You can update these any time as things change.
Start logging by chatting
For your first few days, log a little of everything — food, water, movement, sleep and mood — to build a representative snapshot. You don't need to log every meal forever; a few honest days is enough for Abraham to read your patterns and coach from there with light check-ins.
There are three easy ways to log a meal:
- Tell Abraham in the chat — for example, "grilled chicken, rice and a coffee for lunch".
- Scan a product barcode with the in-app camera.
- Snap a photo of your plate, then confirm what it found.
Water, workouts, mood, sleep, medication and a quick journal note all work the same conversational way.
Where to next
- Connect your favourite AI — reach Abraham from Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini.
- Add Abraham on Telegram — chat and get reminders there too.
- Manage your plan — one plan, and free for patients of partnered clinics.
- Your privacy — your diary is your own.
Good to know: if you ever mention that you're in crisis or thinking of self-harm, Abraham responds first with Lifeline 13 11 14 and emergency 000, before anything else.
